As we continue to observe the 50th anniversary of the reinstatement of the death penalty in our state, the Georgia Catholic Conference, in collaboration with Restorative Justice Ministry and Georgia Catholics Against the Death Penalty, will host a Mass of Remembrance for Victims of State Violence to honor the lives of the 77 people Georgia has executed since 1976.

The Mass will be held on Monday, November 2, at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, located at 3773 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA 30341. Bishop Bernard E. Shlesinger, III will preside.

All are welcome to attend. No registration is necessary.
